How did we end up making these hoodies?

 

One overcast day my young grandson showed up at my house without a jacket. I put him in one of my extra-large hoodies and followed him around the park, wishing I had a one like that. Within a few months I managed to talk a friend into making the first one.

From there my family went from concept to prototype to running a batch of 200 hoodies. Now we have Half-Giant hoodies in every color of the rainbow!

Half-Giant is a family business, located in Vancouver WA. We had plans to produce more and launch a larger operation, but our small business cannot weather the uncertainty and additional expense of the tariffs being imposed. Our first batch was 100% American cotton and sewn here in the USA, but to proceed with a larger operation and bring our prices down we need to go overseas. Those plans are on hold for the foreseeable future, so get your Half-Giant hoodie while they last!

 

That’s my grandson in the red hoodie, on that day in the park. He wanted me to let you know he can solve a Rubik’s cube in about three minutes (I still can’t solve one at all).
